The OLPH Sharks Swim Team is a registered USA Swimming Club servicing Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish of Glenview, IL.  Coaches John Lonergan and Chris DeJong bring over 40 years of combined swimming experience at every level.

Stemming from John and Chris' passion for the sport of swimming, the philosophy behind the Sharks is that swimming should be a positive, fun, learning experience that instills a life-long work ethic.  Often, young swimmers experience burn-out because they are typically never taught the fundamentals of how to swim efficiently.  Sharks swimmers learn proper swimming technique before transitioning to more yardage.
