ABOUT OUR LESSONS

The OLPH Sharks Pre-compete program is a great fit whether your child is interested in joining the swim team or you simply want them to become a better and safer swimmer.  The OLPH Sharks pre-compete program offers some of the best instructors in the area and a unique and innovative teaching system.  Our system was developed by world-class swimmers using techniques learned from some of the best coaches in the history of competitive swimming. 

Our unique teaching methods break down strokes into tiny easy-to-learn increments that help build confidence.  These movements are then practiced and perfected much the same way world class swimmers train.  We make sure that swimmers master each skill before moving on to ensure good habits stick.  We also pride ourselves on ensuring that our swimmers have fun and can’t wait to come back!

FALL / WINTER LESSON TIMES    

Continuous Monthly Program

Lessons are on a month to month continuous program.  An initial two month commitment is required.  You have the option of taking one or more classes per week.  You get to keep going or stop at any time on a month-to-month basis after your initial commitment. 

Weekly 30 minute lesson times:  Call 847.864.0817 to schedule a lesson!

Need to miss a lesson?  No problem, you can make it up!  

We understand your schedule can become hectic in a hurry.  We offer make-up classes in order to give you flexibility.  You simply need to follow these instructions to schedule a make-up:

1.   Email makeups@bigblueswimschool.com with the day you will be missing before noon on the day of your regularly scheduled lesson time. 

2.   You will receive an email confirming your day and time for your make-up class.

*One make-up per student per month

*Make-ups are held Saturday’s at 2;30pm and Sundays at 3:30pm

*Make-ups cannot be rescheduled

*You must notify of us of missed classes after the class has been paid for (i.e. after the first of the month)

*All make-up requests must be submitted through email
